In July, Labour campaigned on a series of promises that they have since broken. They are no different from the Tories they replaced, and in some ways, even worse.
Winter Fuel Allowance:
Labour promised they would not touch the winter fuel allowance, but they have now voted to end it. This is a direct attack on those most vulnerable during the harshest months of the year.
Child Benefit Cap:
Labour had the chance to lift 450,000 children out of poverty by removing the two-child cap. Yet they have chosen to leave this policy in place, making it harder for families with more than two children to make ends meet.
Pension and Tax Increases:
It seems likely that Labour will target pensions next. They are also preparing to raise taxes, despite their clear promises during the election campaign that they would not. Instead of supporting ordinary working people, they are burdening us with the same austerity measures we saw from the Tories.
This betrayal is even more striking given the recent revelation that within just three days of taking office, the Prime Minister was ready to commit billions to Ukraine. Money for foreign wars, no money for kids. They intend to let the poorest and most vulnerable in society bear the brunt.
Labour campaigned on promises of fairness and change, but they are already failing to deliver, abandoning the very people who trusted them. If we do not hold them to account now, these policies will only grow harsher, leaving our communities worse off.
Please do not let this betrayal go unnoticed. Together, we can send a message that we will not stand by while Labour continues these Tory policies that only benefit the few at the expense of the many.

By nationalising key services, Hoz aims to provide equitable access to essential resources, prevent exploitation by private companies, and ensure that these services are run efficiently for the benefit of all citizens.
